How Olivami Garden works
Create your own company garden
Each company can create its own garden and donate trees to its customers and / or collaborators . The garden will be marked and distinguished by a wooden sign bearing the name of the company. We can also calculate the amount of CO2 offset by your olive grove and you can purchase the carbon credits generated.
Gifts and Involve
We will provide you with a certificate of adoption of your olive grove and, if you want to give them away, we will provide you with a code that can be used to “redeem” the olive trees in your yard. You can also decide whether or not to give away the oil produced from your olive grove! We will hang a plaque on each olive tree with your company name and the name assigned to the tree!
Marketing and CSR
We will give visibility to your commitment to reforestation in Salento through press releases, dedicated marketing plans and a company page on our website. You can communicate your gesture to all your stakeholders, include your commitment in the sustainability report, and come visit your olive grove anytime!

Give concrete support to the environment
In five years, Xylella has destroyed more than 20 million Olive Trees. Concretely help the reforestation of Salento with the Olivami Association, the first organization to propose the long-distance adoption of Olive Trees as a form of combating Xylella. Olivami is a third-sector entity duly registered with RUNTS (Tax Identification Number 93160150756).
The new trees will be planted in the province of Lecce, in the areas of the municipalities of Martano, Borgagne, Melendugno, and Carpignano Salentino. We plant olive trees of the Leccino and Favolosa varieties, which have proven resistant to Xylella.
Offsets your company's carbon footprint
Olive trees also have a high CO2 absorption capacity of about 300 kg/year.
By creating an olive garden you can then offset your company’s carbon footprint by receiving a certification that you can include in your sustainability report. If the capacity of your garden is not enough, you can offset your emissions through our other small olive trees (also planted in Salento).
We will support you in all steps: from calculating your emissions to filling out the sustainability report, including the CO2 offset certification.
Give visibility to your social initiatives
Highlight your social engagement through Olivami. Each adopting company will be entitled to:
- A personal garden with awooden sign bearing the company’s logo
- A dedicated page on Olivami’s website, describing the company’s commitment to Olive Tree adoption and CO2 absorption

The Oil produced from our trees is anEVO oil, from the Leccino and Favolosa olive varieties, with sweet but also fruity traits. Shipping of the oil usually takes place after the olive harvest in October-November.
