Did you know you can come visit your olive tree anytime?
Our grounds are open to the public because we want everyone to have the opportunity to admire our lush, thriving olive groves and, perhaps, take a stroll surrounded by the characteristic greenery of the Salento region.
You can come by—alone or with friends—to see how your olive tree is growing at any time, and choose whether to be accompanied by our staff or to visit on your own.
To be accompanied by our team, simply book your tour directly on our website: www.olivami.com/visita-il-tuo-ulivo/
And how will I find my olive tree?
Each olive tree is identified by a wooden tag bearing the adopter’s name, the name you’ve given the tree, and the adoption code (the one listed on the first certificate we sent you), which we’ll print and hang on every single adopted olive tree.
We print the tags in batches of 1,000 adoptions to help reduce production costs and invest as much as possible in the reforestation of Salento.
Here’s how to book a visit to your olive tree and how we’ve organized our olive groves so you can easily find your tree.
How do I book a tour of the olive grove?
STEP 1: Select the date and time
On the “Visit Your Olive Tree” page, you’ll find a calendar where you can select your preferred date from the available options. Then click on the date.
After clicking, several time slots will appear. Choose the one you prefer from the available options.
The tour will last about 30 to 40 minutes.

STEP 2: Enter your details
At this point, you will need to fill in the fields with the required information:
- your first and last name;
- your email address;
- the name of the person who adopted you or from whom you received the gift;
- your phone number.
We will need your email address to send you a booking confirmation and the location of the meeting point, which will be at our partner oil mill in Martano (LE).
STEP 3: Would you like to pick up the oil as well?
When you book your visit, you’ll also have the option to choose whether or not to pick up the oil included in your adoption. Regardless of whether you selected “pickup at the mill” at the time of adoption, you can choose to pick it up at the mill (however, if your oil has already been handed over to the courier, it will not be possible to pick it up).
Then write “yes” or “no” depending on whether or not you want to pick up your oil. Finally, click on“SCHEDULE THE EVENT.”
Please wait a few minutes for the email confirming your reservation.

What if I want to visit my olive tree on my own?
STEP 1: Find the olive grove
Also on the “Visit Your Olive Tree” page, we have listed all the olive groves that farmers have made available to our association.
For each olive grove, we have listed the name, the range of adoption codes for the olive trees located on that plot, and the location.
Simply locate the olive grove using the adoption code listed on your first adoption certificate (be sure not to search for the grove using the renewal code), then click the “LOCATE OLIVE GROVE” button to open Google Maps with the corresponding location.

STEP 2: Find your olive tree
Once you’ve found the olive grove, follow the Google Maps directions to get there.
The nameplates are arranged in ascending order of adoption code.
Once the row of olive trees is complete, the placement of nameplates with the next code will continue on the adjacent row (we’ve nicknamed this the “serpentine” arrangement).
