As it prepares to transition into a Benefit Corporation, Sepel demonstrates that companies of any size can make a positive impact. The realization that even small actions can contribute to broad change is a tangible sign of our evolution toward a more sustainable world. As part of this transformation, we are committed to achieving carbon neutrality through concrete actions, such as printing the magazine on 100% recycled paper and planting a tree for every new subscriber. This allows us to generate a positive environmental impact that exceeds our company’s carbon footprint. This commitment clearly demonstrates our desire not only to balance our operations but also to leave a positive and lasting legacy. Our participation in the “Olivami” project reflects a deep connection to Puglia, a region where many of our authors and trainers are from, and actively contributes to the restoration of an ecosystem that is vital to the region. Sepel is a publishing company specializing in professional publishing, vocational training, and consulting in the areas of civil status, the registry office, and family law.
In particular, the magazine “Lo Stato Civile Italiano,” founded in 1901, is distributed in over 2,000 municipalities throughout Italy.
The journal has covered wars, legislative reforms, social changes, and the gradual cultural and professional evolution of its readers, who have become increasingly discerning and knowledgeable in fields that are themselves growing ever more complex. Today, the magazine *Lo Stato Civile Italiano* remains at the forefront, continuing to be the leading periodical specializing in demographic issues.
In recent years, Sepel Publishing has enthusiastically embraced the innovations brought about by new media, complementing the magazine with a range of online services designed to provide practical support for its subscribers’ daily work.
Alongside its publishing activities, Sepel Editrice has always played an active role in the field of education. Suffice it to say that the first conference dedicated to civil registry and population registry officials, organized by the journal *Lo Stato Civile Italiano*, took place in Forlì on October 29 and 30, 1911, with 320 member municipalities in attendance.
Since then, Sepel’s training mission has continued uninterrupted, and today the company is able to offer professional training services both in traditional formats and through e-learning, drawing on the expertise of the industry’s leading experts
