The story of the project
Kraton is the world’s leading producer of resins and chemicals derived from crude tall oil and terpenes obtained from pine trees that are planted, grown, and harvested for the production of paper and cardboard.
Crude tall oil and terpenes are byproducts of the Kraft paper-making process, which Kraton valorizes by providing the industry with raw materials and ingredients from renewable sources that offer high added value in terms of performance and sustainability.
