The story of the project
Gyrotonic Molfetta is a young company led by pre-trainer Angela Sterlacci. We help people take care of their bodies through movement, using the Gyrotonic method.
The Gyrotonic Expansion System is a movement system that stimulates and enhances the functional capacity of the entire body, leading to total harmony and “organic unity.” In the Gyrotonic Expansion System community, we say that movement is life, and life is movement. This does not apply only to this system. It is a universal law. Where there is movement, there is life. Where there is no movement, there is no life. Just think of the smallest particle in our body: the cell. As long as movement is still present, the cell is alive. Our goal is to educate people in self-care through physicality and movement. That is why I choose to describe my personal approach to care and support as “educational care.” Those who choose to embark on a journey with us will learn and understand the reasoning behind every movement. We empower people to be free, not dependent on our presence. “Knowledge sets you free” remains a great truth.
Gyrotonic classes offer a personalized program. Each participant is guided by a certified trainer who will analyze and observe every movement, posture, and alignment. The classes are therefore fully tailored to the individual’s needs and requirements, making the program unique and ensuring results.
