“We were able to see with our own eyes the devastation caused by Xylella in the Salento region. Our partnership with OlivaMi is meant to encourage the region not to give up, and to motivate farmers to resume their activities so they can once again create one of the jewels of Italy’s food and wine scene. Furthermore, we want to invest in initiatives that have a positive environmental impact and help combat climate change. We believe that the goal of reducing emissions can only be achieved through a collective effort in which everyone does their part. Supporting and encouraging sustainable olive farming not only benefits our health and well-being but also helps protect our planet for future generations.”

The story of the project
S.T.E. SRL has been a family-owned business since 1981. We design and manufacture electrical measuring transformers for the power distribution sector and the railway market.
Just like a tree that grows steadily over time, ring by ring, S.T.E. has also grown slowly over the years, moving to several successively larger locations and increasing its staff year after year. We currently have about 40 employees. Our products are electrical current and voltage transformers for measurement, protection, and isolation, designed for both indoor and outdoor use. We specialize in the custom development of split-case transformers, which are ideal for system retrofits. We do not engage in mass production, but rather offer custom products tailored to meet our customers’ specific needs. The technical effort is rewarded by seeing high-tech products come to life.
Our products are proudly designed and manufactured 100% in Italy, and we believe that “Made in Italy” is a value worth defending in every market. We believe in sound entrepreneurship, in the drive to take action, to grow, and to build something better every day.
