The story of the project
Teatro Selvatico bases its artistic exploration on the study of human reactions to stimuli. The forest is our guide; we seek to translate its harmony into a more human form. We try to let ourselves be carried away by the flow of a river, the rustling of leaves in the wind, and the scent of the earth.
We believe that theater offers a valuable opportunity to explore the concept of presence.
In our language, “present” also means “gift.” It’s not so much what happens, but the fact that it happens. For us, “Theater” is any act in which one is fully present, in an authentic relationship with those who witness it and with the landscape.
